Staff, especially Karen, were friendly, efficient and attentive. Lovely side angle view of ocean from our room with balcony. Spacious room, very clean, comfortable bed. Refrigerator, microwave, fireplace and jacuzzi were nice extras. Continental breakfast available in lobby or could order hot breakfast in advance to be delivered to room. Because of the nice weather the night we arrived we had a nice dinner.on the hotel veranda overlooking the ocean. We hiked the trail behind the hotel property all the way to Point Arena Lighthouse....a gorgeous 4.2 mile trail along the seashore. We borrowed DVDs from hotel. They also had games to borrow.

We felt super comfortable at the Wharfs Inn in Point Arena with Karen and Cliff. It is a great, clean, friendly and quiet hotel with a great view from the balcony over the Pacific. Our room was very well appointed and the breakfast menu is great. The service staff are all helpful and nice. We did not eat dinner, we had already done that before check in. We have but on the terrace very good wine served including campfire. Thank you for the wonderful stay with you. We can only recommend the accommodation!

This is a quirky hotel, run by a quirky but friendly headmistress. Talking to her, and getting tips on local attractions, was a highlight of the stay. Don't overlook the hike that starts between two of the hotel buildings. It quickly takes you up along the cliffs that line the bay. Do this at sunset, and you won't soon forget it. The quirky wood sculptures that adorn the hotel are also a highlight.

What a great find, we brought a group of photographers and they could not have been happier, the view was great, and the hidden hiking path was beautiful. the rooms are so comfortable and clean. I wish we could have stayed another night. The host Karen was so nice and sweet and the food was wonderful! We will be returning to this property and highly recommend it! Only stayed for one night on our road trip but what a wonderful place. Up on a hill above a small boatyard with great views of the ocean (it was unfortunately a bit foggy while we were there). Lovely big, clean room with jacuzzi bath. Lady in the lobby was so friendly. Limited places to eat but pizza place just down the hill or you can eat at the Inn. Loads of free parking. Loved it.
